Update on fake audit scandal in New Mexico

Just checked back with New Mexico Watchdog to see what is happening with the alleged fake audit report for the New Mexico Finance Authority. My background is here and here.  An update:

Highlights from NMFA scandal: Campbell indicted by grand jury, Duff cleared UPDATE: Duff may sue:

A federal grand jury indicted the former controller on 12 counts – 8 security fraud charges and 4 counts of forgery.

The same grand jury refused to indict the chief operating officer. He has been cleared by the grand jury. That also ends the conspiracy allegations.

Highlights from NM Finance Authority boots its CEO – is a lawsuit coming soon?:

The NMFA fired its chief executive officer.

He issued a press release hinting he may sue the board.
